Author's Note:
I hope everyone had a good week and weekend!

Firstly, apologies for the late update! I did get through the work week 😅 but could only start writing on Thursday. Thank you for waiting!

I see on the news that many countries are seeing new waves of covid... I hope everyone stay safe and keep well. ❤️

For this chapter... From some of their comments post 1 Jan, I really get the "married" vibes. Even if they are not literally married, they are at least very serious about each other. In my mind, it feels plausible that they could be taking steps to further integrate their lives.

The second part is on the CLOY anniversary celebration. Thank you to readers who reminded me of it! I didn't know the details and searched on Twitter for the fan events. Hats off to everyone who made it happen! It touched even me so I can only imagine how much they appreciate the gesture. This is my take on their response 🥰

Thanks again for reading, commenting and liking! I hope everyone has a good week ahead!

The New Home

Hyun Bin frowned slightly as he reduced the Navigator's speed further. He could barely see thirty meters ahead due to the heavy snowfall. Beside him, Ye-Jin hummed Mido and Falasol's Me to You, You to Me softly as she peered out of the window. She had recently watched a rerun of Hospital Playlist and the soundtracks had been playing on repeat mode at home.

They were on their way to the new apartment - today was their "official" move in day. The usual thirty minute drive had taken nearly an hour, no thanks to the snow. Ye-Jin smiled as the familiar signage "Walkerhill Pedo Ville" appeared. They were finally here.

Hyun Bin cut the engine and turned to Ye-Jin. "Hold on for a second," he said and quickly got out of the car.

Ye-Jin obediently stayed put and watched as Hyun Bin walked over to her side of the car. He opened the door and held out his hand for her.

She raised her eyebrows and pursed her lips - her usual look when she was suspicious of something. Hyun Bin was a gentleman but weren't they way past this stage? She could have opened the door herself.

Hyun Bin grinned as Ye-Jin took his hand and somewhat awkwardly stepped out. He leaned down and murmured next to her ear, "This is necessary chivalry. I'm afraid you would roll out of the car."

Ye-Jin looked at him with a puzzled expression. What was he talking about? She followed his gaze and looked down at herself. She had on five layers - long johns, a woolen top, a fleece pull-over, a sweater and finally a thick padded coat. She was so bundled up that she could barely bend or see her own shoes.

She understood now. Chivalry her foot! She pouted and glared at Hyun Bin. Was he implying that she looked fat? He was the one who reminded her to dress warmly when they were leaving the house!

Hyun Bin laughed at Ye-Jin's indignant expression. Given the weather, he had casually reminded her to dress warmly. To his amusement, not only did she add another sweater, she also swapped her fabric coat for a thickly padded one. She looked adorable - exactly like a chubby and clumsy penguin.

He slid his arm around her waist in a bid to pacify her and grinned at how his arm could still comfortably circle her despite the added inches. She felt so small and fragile.

He said sincerely, "You will always be beautiful to me - even if you rolled out of the car."

Ye-Jin gave his arm a light punch. How was that a compliment?!?

Hyun Bin laughed and planted a light kiss on her forehead. It was a fact that she would always be beautiful to him.
