Author's Notes: Thanks for all your messages and votes 😊 lol, I think I will need a break soon from re-watching the drama. I enjoyed watching it again the last couple of days (it has been awhile), but I probably need to space it out. Maybe another chapter or so on the drama and i'll want to put in an chapter that's not related to filming... I'll give it some thought. Meanwhile, hope you enjoy this chapter!

Scene 1: When Se-ri got left behind at the Market place (Episode 4)

This was one of the most memorable scenes in the drama for Ye-Jin. Se-ri was accidentally left behind in the bustling marketplace. She was lost and it revived her childhood nightmare. She had been abandoned by her step-mother by the beach. An anxious Jeong-hyeok rushed to the market to look for Se-ri. It was so crowded it would be almost impossible to search. He saw a scented candle store which reminded him of Se-ri. It then struck him, he'll light a scented candle for Se-ri. Se-ri intuitively followed the light and found Jeong-hyeok, her only constant in this foreign land.

By now, Ye-Jin was well assimilated into her role as Yoon Se-ri. In particular, she could keenly relate to Se-ri's loneliness and pain during her growing years.

Although not in the same context, Ye-Jin went through similar struggles. Ye-Jin's path as an actress had been largely a lonely one, especially during her early years, when she was at her most vulnerable. She wasn't complaining by any means, in fact, Ye-Jin knew that she's one of the lucky ones who had achieved some success without sacrificing her soul. But still, loneliness was her constant companion for many years and Ye-Jin understood the sense of helplessness, betrayal and isolation that Se-ri felt.

Jeong-hyeok became Se-ri's anchor as she drifted in turbulent waters. He was her refuge in unfamiliar North Korea and eventually gave meaning to her jaded lifestyle. Like Se-ri, Ye-Jin was at the prime of her career and she had the means to satisfy all her material wants. Ye-Jin's real life was, of course, not as extreme as Se-Ri's. She came from a close knitted family and had close friends that she could rely on. However, both did not trust easily and had, over the years, built up a defense shield which made it hard for people to really know them.

Jeong-hyeok had broken down Se-ri's defense and in similar fashion, Hyun Bin broke down Ye-Jin's defense. To Ye-Jin, Hyun Bin and Jeong-hyeok were more similar than what most people, Hyun Bin included, think. They were both honest, sincere and unassuming. They were steadfast in their commitment and they put their love above themselves. That was why they could tear down the defense built over the years. They tore it down with love and sincerity.

While filming this scene, it was easy for Ye-Jin to become Se-ri. She simply let Ye-Jin come out. They were one. As she followed the candlelight, tears welled in her eyes, her heart knew that it was him. He would always be there for her. When she finally saw him, she smiled through her tears. Their eyes met and they both felt the connection. Her smile widened, her heart had intuitively recognized him. She was amazed by the connection, was this really fate?

There was silence even after Director Lee called cut. Everyone was enthralled with what they had just seen. They felt their heartstrings pull, it was a beautiful scene. Ye-Jin quickly wiped the tears from her eyes and Hyun Bin smiled, his eyes never leaving Ye-Jin. It was such a gentle smile that everyone felt their heart skip a beat. Didn't Director Lee already call cut? Were they watching Jeong-hyeok or Hyun Bin? Nobody knew the answer, but everyone had the same guess.

Scene 2: When Seo Dan appears and meets Jeong-hyeok and Se-ri (Episode 5)

This was meant to be an awkward scene, when the fake fiancee meets the real fiancee. There were a mixture of emotions within the same scene, comedy, fear of rejection, responsibility and love. The scene started somewhat comedic, with Se-ri making use of the opportunity to turn Jeong-hyeok's words about not being stupid back on him. It then takes on a somewhat serious tone as Jeong-hyeok addressed his fake and real fiancee.
