Los Angeles - Beach Apartment

Hyun Bin was having a cup of coffee with Ye-Jin in the balcony. This will mark the end of their LA vacation. He'll need to leave for the airport in an hour's time to catch his flight back to Seoul. Two large suitcase and a couple of hand-carry bags stood neatly by the door. He was returning with significantly more luggage as he had insisted on bringing some of Ye-Jin's things back first. She will be traveling by herself tomorrow and he didn't want her to be bogged down with luggage.

"Time really flies," Ye-Jin smiled. "I can't believe we've been here three weeks. It went by so quickly. I wish we had another three weeks." Ye-Jin looked wistfully at the ocean.

"We'll come again," Hyun Bin promised. Despite the scare with the fan sightings, it had been a great vacation. They had seen unbelievable scenic sights, eaten great food, watched world class shows and most importantly, grew as a couple. They had their first argument, albeit about laundry, their first crisis with the fan sightings, their first discussion around career expectations, their first couple rings. They've learnt so much more about each other and strengthened their bond as a couple.

"I have so many places I want to visit," Ye-Jin mused. "I wonder if I'll ever visit all of them."

"What are the places you want to visit most?" Hyun Bin asked, curious.

"Maldives and the Scandinavian countries are at the top of my list," Ye-Jin said excitedly. "I have to visit at least one of them this year."

She laughed, "I'm terrible right, thinking about another vacation when we just finished a vacation."

Hyun Bin stored that in his memory and he smiled. They were now his top places to visit.

"By the way Tae-Pyung, I heard we're going to speak with Park Ji-Eun nim next week." Ye-Jin suddenly recalled that she's been meaning to ask him about this. "Is this the same script you mentioned before?"

Hyun Bin nodded, "Yes, it's the same one. I have not spoken with her myself but I heard from Dong Wan she's very keen to work with us."

Ye-Jin looked at Hyun Bin and asked seriously, "Are you sure you really want to do a drama together? I know it sounds nice to be together for six months but there are also a lot of pressures. The filming pressure aside, it'll also be challenging to be always professional in front of so many people for such a long period of time."

"I've thought about it as well. Its true but at the same time, I really think our on-screen chemistry is quite special and it'll be a waste not to see what we can do together." Hyun Bin said. "I'm really curious and excited."

Ye-Jin nodded, she knew what he meant. The actress in her was also eager and intrigued. The possibility and hopes that their joint project could be their best work to date made the opportunity irresistible. "Let's see what's the scenario looks like next week," Ye-Jin said.

Hyun Bin nodded and looked at his watch. "I'll need to leave soon. The cab should be arriving."

They stood up and brought the luggage out to the pick up point. Ye-Jin wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. Hyun Bin looked at her slightly pouting expression and smiled. He hugged her tightly as well. Its just a day but he's going to miss her, especially after being physically together for three straight weeks. Its strange, but he's forgotten how it feels like to be without her by his side.

As the cab pulled up, Hyun Bin gave her a hard kiss. He really hated leaving her here. "Be very careful alright, just stay in the apartment till you leave for the airport tomorrow. You should have everything you need. I've asked Dong Wan to check in with you every two hours while I'm on the plane so just reply him when you see his message."
