Author's Notes: Happy Friday Everyone! Thank you for all your comments and votes on the last chapter. I felt as well that relationships sometimes need to be tested in order for it to grow. At least in my mind, they would pass with flying colors 😉 I'm back to CLOY scenarios and filming related incidents will likely be the focus for the next few chapters.

Hope you enjoy this chapter and have a great weekend!

Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin were scheduled to film joint scenes today and they appeared bright and early at the set. They were their usual smiling selves and Ye-Jin's bright peals of laughter could be heard as she listened to Hyun Bin. The pink bubbles were back in full force.

The rest of the cast and crew were actually relieved. They were all aware of the rumors around Hyun Bin and were worried things would get awkward. The pink bubbles were a clear sign that all was good.

More details of the chat were revealed later in the day and the context of Hyun Bin's name was clarified. He was mentioned in the chat, but it was in reference to golf games. They were golfing buddies. With that, most of the rumors died down. There were however, still pockets of the online community who continued to make irresponsible speculations.

To shut down the remnants of irresponsible online individuals,  Vast decided to issue a blanket warning. A stern statement was issued: In order to protect their artists, Vast would not hesitate to take legal action against people who made false and malicious comments. Vast had intentionally issued a blanket warning instead of specifying Hyun Bin and the phone chat leak rumors because Hyun Bin did not want to give these individuals the satisfaction of acknowledgement.

Unfortunately, Ye-Jin became an unintentional casualty. How? Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin had been wrapped up in the wedding and breakup rumors less than a week earlier. As VAST's warning did not specify the specific rumor, many people assumed it was related to the wedding and breakup rumors rather than the phone chat leak scandal. It appeared to many people that Hyun Bin was once again denying his relationship with Ye-Jin. Fans of Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin were disappointed while the antis were thrilled.

Hyun Bin actually gave himself a knock on the head when Dong Wan highlighted the unintended side effect. Denying Ye-Jin was the last thing he wanted to do and Hyun Bin regretted not specifying which rumor in their warning. He had miscalculated.

While he couldn't publicly acknowledge his relationship with Ye-Jin, Hyun Bin was secretly, or not so secretly, pleased to see any kind of news which put them together. In fact, he was over the moon with an unexpected benefit derived from Crash Landing on You - the drama had created a growing base of fans who were keen to see the two of them together in real life. Both Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin were grateful to know there were fans rooting for them. The last thing he wanted to do was to pour cold water on these fans but it was too late to retract the warning.

But all in all, the blanket threats did the trick and speculations of all kinds died down. There was no negative impact to the drama, in fact ratings were steadily increasing. Episode 8, which was broadcast on 12th January, hit 12%. This was an all time high for the drama and the cast and crew were raring to do even better.

Scene 1: Which is Love – Se-ri's soliloquy (Episode 10)

'I wonder which one is love.

Hoping that you are worrying about me, like I am for you and wishing that you are pining for me, like I am for you. Is this love?

Or is it wishing that you won't be worried about me, that you will forget about me and all the moments we have shared. Is that love?
