Chapter 94: CLOY Filming Continues (Part 11)

Author's Note: Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good start to the week! I saw lots of new bts pictures on the internet... lol, the pictures themselves look innocent enough, why it's suddenly all coming out only now. But either way, I'm happy to see the pics 😊 I'm going back a little in time to the Negotiation time period with one of the side stories. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Scene 1: The "Scars" (Episode 14)

Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin had a very long schedule today. They had been filming at different sites earlier today and were scheduled to spend the rest of the night filming the scenes set in the hospital. The first scene for tonight was the one when Jeong-hyeok showed Se-ri his scars to comfort her. This was a lighthearted scene and the production team had decided it was better to get this done before they focused on the other tearful scenes.

Ye-Jin arrived first and was now seated comfortably on the hospital bed while she waited for the others to arrive.

Hyun Bin came in five minutes later, surprised to see Ye-Jin already on the bed. He looked at his watch, he was on time, even with his slight detour. Ye-Jin must have finished early. He smiled as he sat down on the bed next to her.

Ye-Jin caught a whiff of his after-shave. Her lips curved into a knowing smile and she asked innocently, "Did you shower before coming?"

Hyun Bin knew what Ye-Jin was driving at. He let out a small smile and answered indirectly, "I was dirty."

Ye-Jin wasn't going to let him off the hook, "Did you go to a jjimjilbang?"

Hyun Bin paused for a moment as he tried to find a way out of the question. Her question was too direct, he gave up and admitted, "I hurriedly washed up."

Ye-Jin laughed heartily. She knew it, his ahjussi relaxation method. Despite the fact that they had filmed all day, this was the first time they saw each other today and they felt their moods lift and their exhaustion dissipate. This was one of the best parts about filming together, they could provide support to each other on a long and tiring day. They continued chatting as they waited for Director Lee.

Director Lee had been expecting to face a group of fatigued cast and crew. After all, everyone had been filming for the last ten hours and had another six hours to go. He was pleasantly surprised to hear laughter and see smiles on everyone's face when he arrived. He quickly identified the source of everyone's merriment - his two stars who were seated comfortably on the hospital bed. They looked so comfortable and happy, surrounded by so much pink bubbles. It was impossible to be in a bad mood when you looked at them.

They quickly started running through the actions for the scene. Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin were hilarious.

Se-ri was supposed to search for a scar on Jeong-hyeok's scalp. Ye-Jin held Hyun Bin's head with her two hands as she searched. She decided to tease Hyun Bin. She tightened her grip and trapped him. Hyun Bin smiled and he played along with her, pretending to hold still. Ye-Jin released him but not before using her hands to tidy his hair. She also took a sniff of his hair - he definitely went to the jjimjilbang before coming, the familiar scent of his shampoo soothed her. Her actions were so natural that everyone couldn't help but laugh, they looked so good together.

When Hyun Bin tested the scene of him showing Se-ri his scars, he went so quickly, pulling up his shirt and all, that Ye-Jin didn't have a chance to say her lines. She hit him teasingly and he pretended to collapse against her. Everyone's breath caught at how comfortable they were with skinship.
