Chapter 79: CLOY - The Swoon Interviews

Author's Notes: I really loved all the Swoon interviews and wanted to do a chapter focusing on their interactions then. They felt the most natural during these interviews. Hope you enjoy the chapter!

Again, with the work week starting, updates will be likely slower. Hope everyone has a good week ahead!

Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin arrived at the TvN building just after lunch time. They had a photo-shoot for Crash Landing on You and would also be filming a few promotion videos for The Swoon. They had been filming all morning in the bitterly cold outdoors and were happy to have an indoor schedule for the afternoon.

The dressing room was a scene of chaotic but friendly frenzy. Stylists, make-up artists, coordinators, managers, filming staff were all gathered in the room finalizing details or carrying out their job to get ready for this afternoon's work. Hyun Bin and Ye-Jin were seated down as their stylists and make-up artist worked. They were both looking forward to the afternoon schedule. Relative to filming, photo-shoots and interviews were like a stroll in the park. It was warm indoors and all they had to do was smile, look pretty and chit-chat. It was a treat!

Flashback - a week ago during filming dinner break

"Are we supposed to pick four activities?" Ye-Jin asked. Manager Kim had just informed them that The Swoon's recording had been scheduled for next week and they needed to choose what they wanted to do during the segments.

Ye-Jin eagerly scanned through the list, she loved The Swoon's concepts. "Jenga, couch talk, fan projects, mystery mission, mission pong... they all sound fun!"

Ye-Jin turned to Hyun Bin. "Do you have a preference? I think we should do a variety to engage fans. We can maybe do a game, a fan gift, a chit chat session and one more?"

Hyun Bin nodded, "That makes sense, so let's pick fan project and couch talk. What game do you want to play? I did Jenga with Park Shin Hye when we recorded for Memories of Alhambra."

Ye-Jin thought for a moment, "Then let's pick something different. We should play a game that's new to both of us, so there's no unfair advantage."

Hyun Bin burst out laughing and Manager Kim shook his head. Hyun Bin had half expected that answer. Playing games was very close to Ye-Jin's heart and Hyun Bin knew firsthand how seriously she took games. He still finds her competitive streak endearing and she was adorable when her mischievous and fun sides appear. But that said, he tries to steer clear of playing games with her. Let's just say its more fun to be an observer.

Manager Kim was more direct. "Ye-Jin, just remember that its for the drama's promotion, alright? Entertainment value is more important than winning."

Ye-Jin scrunched her nose at her manager, "Oppa, games are entertaining only when people try to win." Ignoring her manager who shook his head again, Ye-Jin turned to Hyun Bin and smiled, "Shall we go for the Pong game? That sounds fun and luck plays a big part here, so it should be entertaining."

Hyun Bin was smiling at the look of disdained she had shown Manager Kim. She can be like a little girl sometimes. He replied, "Sure, any game is fine for me. It'll be entertaining because you're playing it." Manager Kim shook his head at Hyun Bin this time round as if saying - she's getting from bad to worse because you're spoiling her. Hyun Bin pretended he didn't see that and turned his attention to the list and said, "And for the last segment, let's do Compliment Me? It'll be fun to write compliments about each other."

Ye-Jin beamed at Hyun Bin, oh yes, this one did sound fun. She already had some ideas ion how she can tease Hyun Bin. She nodded her head, "Sounds fun! We're all set then!"
