198: "You're repulsive and yet I can't get enough of you."

Yourself and your teammate at McLaren, Daniel, may have been teammates for just over a seaosn now, but how you felt about each other was still unclear in the present as it was at the start of last year. It quickly became clear to yourself and Daniel that you were envious of each other, this being the case for you because you thought that you would never achieve the same race winning success that Daniel had and he envied you for being the much younger driver, the driver who the team considered to be their star of the future. There may have been constant bitterness between you and you may have brought out a colder side of Daniel which not many could, but there was also a second side to Daniel which he would only ever reveal around you, this being a very flirtatious and alluring side, a side which caused you to sometimes completely forget your dislike for him and want nothing more than to have him inside of you.

It was during moments like the one which you were currently in the middle of that caused your conflicting feelings about Daniel to take over, the Australian having just backed you up against your car that Sunday morning ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix before anyone else had arrived in the garage, pressing himself forcefully against you, grinding against you several times, before he leant into your ear.

"You may have been the driver who came out on top last season, you may have beaten me more times than not, but I just want to be clear that I'm going to put up one hell of a fight this season because I'm not going to allow myself to get beaten by a silly litle girl once again," he mumbled bitterly, before removing his hands from resting on the car at either side of you.

Once he had pulled away from you, you couldn't help but notice that his eyes briefly filled with guilt, Daniel knowing that those words were out of character for him and that he didn't truly mean them, but because of the way things were between you, he knew he could never reveal his softer, caring side to you and that he couldn't show you how apologetic he was. Daniel's words did sting a little, but because you had become used to comments like that from others over the years, you didn't let them bother you too much and the toughness in his voice even caused your heart to race in as thoughts began to swirl around in your mind which you knew definitely shouldn't be in that moment.

"Wait!" You called out firmly once Daniel had moved a few steps away from you, heading towards the back of the garage to make his way out into the paddock. "You're repulsive and yet I can't get enough of you. Why do you do this to me? Why do you make me feel this way when you can't stand the sight of me?"

Daniel rushed back over to you without any hesitations, crashing his lips against yours in a heated kiss once he had reached you. As he wrapped his arms tightly around your waist, he pressed you up against your car once more, but this time, neither of you were holding back, neither one of you coming up for air until you had no choice and once you did, you couldn't help but notice that Daniel's expression had completely softened.

"If it weren't for our rivalry, maybe things would be different," he said with sadness, lowering his head in shame as he thought about the way he had treated you, someone who he secretly cared a lot about. "You frustrate me so much, not only on track, but because of how much I dislike you a lot of the time, but then rush back to your hotel room with you after leaving the paddock."

It seemed as if yourself and Daniel were finally getting somewhere, were finally going to get to the bottom of things and understand what you were to each other, but just as your lips were about to part to respond to him, you rushed to clear your throat, yourself and Daniel rushing away from each other as you heard footsteps coming towards you. From that moment on, yourself and Daniel could only exchange glances of confusion at each other because of how team members were starting to fill the garage to prepare for the race and as they were, as you were starting to have debriefs, your mind wasn't fully in it. You couldn't help but focus more on Daniel because of the unanswered questions which you had, your largest curiosity being whether yourself and Daniel were going to continue the way you were, despising each other on race weekends whilst being friends with benefits, or whether you could ever overcome your rivalry and be something so much more.
