I ran into the house as fast as I could. "What ha?-" Blade was cut off. I ran up the stairs ignoring him completely. I fell at the top of the stairs breathing heavily. I had no strength left. My head hurt like hell and I couldn't catch my breath. I sucked it up and got back up. I opened the door to Nightmare's room hopeful. He still hadn't respawned. I sat on my knees and just stared at the floor. I knew he was gonna respawn, Flamey told me, but my mind couldn't help thinking of different scenerios. I was scared, I didn't know what I'd do next. Then I heard a thud. I quickly looked up. Nightmare sat up quick. It seemed like he didn't know if he'd respawn either. I just got up and hugged him. I felt a bunch of relief. Nightmare paused, "What happened while I was out?". I stood quiet for a moment, I didn't wanna think about it. Nightmare got the hint and just hugged me back. I didn't know why I felt so worried. If it was just basic human decency or I saw him as a friend, or something else.. I didn't feel like digging deeper at this point, I was just glad he was alive. Then the exhaustion got to me, all my energy was drained and I wasted it even more. I ended up passing out and called it a day.
