chapter 39: meet the parents

the net morning you wake up to see that the big three had left and took eri with them. "hey, kyoka, wake up." you say shaking her. "okay fine, lets go get breakfast." she says. "sounds good to me." you reply. after making some pancakes you sit down with her and she starts a conversation, "so...about my folks." she says, "yea, i should probably meet them." you say, "yea, but im pretty sure they already love you." she says, "why?" you ask confused, "well, the sports festival and the overhaul fight were on live television, remember?" she asks, "oh yea." you say, "i also might have talked about you...a few times." she admits, "okay, you wanna go see them today?" you ask, "sure, ill go call them and see if they are available." she replys.

later that morning you were talking with some of the girls, "so, are you two nervous?" mina asks you and kyoka, "no. i have no need to worry, i havent done anything wrong, all i have ever done to kyoka was for school or her well being." you say blankly, "well i am super nervous. what if they dont like you? what if we cant be together!?" kyoka asks starting to panic, "then we can still be friends, even if we cant date you arent going to lose me." you tell her, "even if the get me expelled somehow, you think thats gonna stop me? aizawa literally let me in on a top secret mission because he knew nobody could stop me." you reassure her. "yea kyoka, i remember when we were walking to my house for him to meet my parents, i was super scared because if they didnt adopt him he would have to leave U.A. at least i was, until (y/n) promised even if he doesnt go to U.A he would still be my friend." mina adds. "when are you guys going anyway?" ochako asks, "in like ten minutes." you say. "well go get ready!" they yell at you.

"so this is it?" you ask kyoka while standing in front of her house. "yea." she says. when you walk up and knock on the door it opens instantly. "good to see you dear!" a woman that looks like kyoka says, "please come in, both of you." she says. "kyotoku! theyre here!" she calls, "come on (y/n), lets go to the living room." kyoka says. you sit down on a couch with kyoka and her parents sit down on chairs in front of you. "so, your the (y/n) my daughter has been talking about so much?" the man with blonde hair asks, "yes, my name is (y/n) (l/n)." you reply. "why should i trust you?" he asks, "well other than trusting kyokas, or the schools, or our friends, judgement. no real reason." you tell him. "oh i like this one." the woman says, "kyoka has he tried to take advantage of you?" the man asks sternly, "why does everyone ask that?" you ask confused, "no dad, he hasnt done anything wrong, pretty much ever, and you can cut the act he isnt afraid of you." kyoka says, "hold on, why does everyone ask that (y/n)?" the woman asks confused, "well, im really close to all the girls in our class, during the USJ incident i was with kyoka and momo, after that i just became friends with them and their circles which was mainly just the girls." you explain. "ah, i see." she says, "well, my name is mika jiro, but please call me mika." mika says, "why do you always ruin my fun?" the man asks, "well, i would have let you continue, but (y/n) already told me he wasnt scared or nervous or anything." kyoka replys. "fair enough, my name is kyotoku jiro." he tells you, "nice to meet you." you say. "thank you so much for saving our daughter at the sports festival, we are very greatful." kyotoku says, "its no problem, it was my fault they were in danger anyway, my opponent knew hurting them would hurt me more than just blowing me up." you explain. "well, that doesnt matter now. how have you two been doing with school?" mika asks, "well, (y/n) is going to have to do summer school since he was in a coma, other than that my grades are fine." kyoka replys. "okay, my turn for a question! what base have you gotten to?" kyotoku asks, "i dont think we have even stepped up to the plate." you joke. "thats not what i heard." mika says with a smile, "mom!" kyoka exclaims, "what?" you ask confused, "well, kyoka said you two sleep together very often." mika reveals, "oh, i see. no, we literally sleep together, currently all the girls are spending the nights in my room with me since i was in the coma, they legitimately took everything that even kinda smelled like me." you reveal. "is it that kind of relationship?" mika asks surprised, "no, one of the other girls is literally my sister, and all the others are like sisters to me. besides they all have boyfriends." you explain. "man, i thought you were cool" kyotoku jokes, "he is cool dad, he just isnt a pervert." kyoka counters. "i still dont see why you think im cool." you say confused, "oh i dont know, could it be that you have saved my life several times, are strong enough to beat all might if you wanted, and faced your biggest fear just because i was more scared?" kyoka says sarcastically. "he did?" kyotoku asks, "yea, back at the sports festival he barely made it by the chasm because he was too scared to move, tsu had to carry him, but when they dropped us out of a plane for training they tried to keep him there but he dove down as fast as he could and then when he reached me he hugged me and said he loved me. you know whats crazy though? he turned me around to take the brunt of the impact thinking he would die." kyoka says while grinning. "how many times have you though you were going to die (y/n)?" mika asks, "uh...three? i think." you say, "thats crazy, you found a good one kyoka." mika says, "yea, i approve."as soon as kyotoku says this you start grinning wildly at him. "uhh...whats with that face?" he asks you, "well, although he loves us (y/n) enjoys teasing quite a bit, especially when it came to crushes, whenever anything would be said about them he would just say 'i approve' or something like that." kyoka explains, "like what?" mika asks, "well, at one point me and his sister were dare to ride him all day, she was piggybacking on his back and i was in his arms, that was while we were at the hot springs, his sister still wanted to go in so me and (y/n) kept our clothes on while she did not, it just so happened that her crush was the one (y/n) appointed on the wall to make sure the boys didnt peep, it wasnt just because it was her crush, we all agreed, anyway, she was messing with him until he said he would stand up and tell her crush to look, after she asked him why he would do that all he said was, 'i approve.'" kyoka finishes with an annoyed look on her face. "oh, i like him even more now." mika says, "so do i, but one question: why was he on the girls side?" kyotoku asks, "aizawa gave them a choice between him, all might, and me, they chose me." you say, "did you want to be up there?" he asks, "well, yes and no, i wasnt aware i was even in the running, but i would much rather i be up there than somebody i dont trust." you say, "so how many of them have you seen naked?" he asks, "all of them at least partially, two or three fully." you say, "how does this school trust you!?" he asks angrily, "because i would rather not see any of them, the only reason i have seen them is because they wanted me to." you tell him, "what does he mean kyoka?" he asks, "well, there are a few very perverted classmates, so while faculty arent around (y/n) usually accompanies us, in that situation we were in the locker room getting changed, he was in the corner getting changed until somebody talked to him." kyoka explains, "and the only reason he was in the hot spring itself with us was because we still wanted to hang out with him, at this point the faculty trusts him enough that he was told for stuff like that he doesnt need permission anymore." kyoka explains, "what about our daughter (y/n)?" mika asks, "do you want to see her naked?" "i cant tell if im in a win-win or a lose-lose situation." you joke. "if given the choice i would probably see her naked i guess." you say, "although only if that choice was from kyoka herself." you add. "so...for instance, if i happened to have bath pictures of her, would you want to see them?" mika asks, "oh, absolutely." you say, "mom! (y/n)! what the heck!?" kyoka asks, "i think you would be an adorable little kid." you tell her, "oh, and did you guys see how good she did during the school festival?" you ask them, "no, we havent." mika says, "here take a look, one of my friends got the whole thing on camera." you say showing them. 

after watching the whole thing they both have tears in their eyes. "(y/n)...thanks you for making her so happy." kyotoku says, "huh?" you ask, "the beginning..." kyoka says, "and a line at the end..." "i want you to know i fully approve of this relationship and im excited for grandkids." mika teases, "MOM!" kyoka yells, "kyoka, you do realize that its me we are talking about right?" you ask, "you reacted like hearing that was either gonna make me leave or give me ideas, it did neither." you reassure her, "hell, we could be forty five, married with three kids and i still wouldnt dream of doing something like that." you tell her. "t-thanks." she says with a red face. "i mean, its only a matter of time." kyotoku says, "maybe, but i dont plan to initiate it." you say, "we can do that when kyoka wants." you add. "kyoka is he always like this or is he putting on a show?" mika asks, "i mean, he might be using bigger words, but besides that this is just him yea." she confirms, "well, i appreciate you making our daughter happy." mika says, "i think its about time to leave (y/n)." kyoka says, "okay." you reply getting up and helping her up. "well, see ya later. and (y/n)?" kyotoku asks, you look at him. "i approve." he says with a smirk.
