chapter 56: a new costume!

two days later your costume arrived, it was a black bodysuit with red and blue highlights, over it was a black vest with soft cloth on the inside, it also had small patches on the left side, along with black finger less gloves that made your ultrablasts blue on your left side and red on your right. it was around afternoon, aizawa said he and all might would be doing hero training today, while getting dressed in the locker room kaminari asks, "wow! (y/n), i didnt know you were changing your costume!" "why did you change it? there was already merchandise featuring your other costume." izuku asks, "thats true, but a lot of people still only saw me as dread, with this change i want to change my public appearance, my other costume has bitter sweet memories attached, this one is more geared to protecting people and looking trustworthy then looking intimidating like my other one." you explain, "stop chatting, we are gonna be late." shinso says while walking out.

"wow (y/n)! that turned out great!" tooru says, "yea! gather the girls club too! i want them all to see the secret." you tell her, "she then runs off and aizawa walks over to you, "do you want to show everyone your little 'secret' or just them?" he asks, "what? how did you know?" you ask surprised, "i looked over your costume sheet." he says bluntly, "sure, i can showw everyone." you say, "good." he replys before going back over with all might. "everyone be quiet! (y/n) changed his costume and there is part of it i want you all to see." he says while waving you over. "huh? why do we need to see it?" katsuki asks, "because this is important." he says sternly, "now why dont you show them and explain why you did it?" aizawa asks, you then open the vest and show the patches, there are thirteen in total and they appear as small, faceless heads. "well, i wanted a reminder of who i fight for, obviously i want to protect everyone, but these are the people i  cant let go, no matter what, the ones i try to survive for, the ones that depend on me." you explain, "who all is there?" all might asks, "ochako, mina, kyoka, momo, tooru, tsuyu, izuku, eijiro, shoto, tenya, nejire, eri, and katsuki." you say, "why them?" tetsutetsu asks, "well, i intend to add more patches in the future, right now its only them because they are the people i care most about, they are my family, i would die ten time over to save them." you explain, "if you could either save a civilian or one of them, which would you save?" all might asks, "well it depends, i personally believe i would save eri, but thats because she has so much life left to live, children are always priority, other than that i would prioritize the civilian, but i would still do my best to save both of them." you explain, "what if we were dangling off a bridge in one car, and a hundred civilians in another?" tenya asks, "i would overclock my body enough to save all of you. even if it kills me." you reply with no hesitation. "good, now on to the lesson." aizawa says.

"today we will be pitting three teams against each other, two heroes, two villains, and a vigilante. it will be similar to what you did on your first day, the villains must protect a bomb or kill the heroes, the heroes must capture the villains or secure the bomb, and the vigilante must kill the villains but can also kill the heroes, the vigilante is illegal and should be captured if possible, a knock out is considered a kill, you capture someone by wrapping them with this tape." aizawa says while holding up a small role of white tape, "the teams are as follows:

team 1: heroes are ashido and hagakure, villains are bakugo and midoriya, the vigilante is (y/n).

team 2: heroes are sato and koda, villains are shoji and tokoyami, the vigilante is todoroki.

team 3: heroes are iida and uraraka, villains are kaminari and kirishima, the vigilante is shinso

team 4: heroes are sero and tetsutetsu, villains are jiro and yaoyorozu, the vigilante is asui"

aizawa explains, "team one go prepare." he orders. you scout a building next to the one the villains are occupying, 'if i wait for a fight, i can kill whoever loses, if the villains lose then good for me, if the heroes do then i cant kill them, i need to protect mina and tooru, izuku and katsuki wont hold back. i dont think i can take them alone though.' you think to yourself, "heroes and vigilante go!" all might says, you then jump down to where tooru and mina are, "hey ladies! we both know you cant beat the two of them n your own, i cant either, how about we work together  just to capture them and then you let me go for my good behavior?" you ask, "how can we trust you?" tooru asks, "at any point you can tell me to leave, i only intend to help." you say with a smirk, "should we trust him mina?" tooru asks, "can i ask a background question!?" mina yells, "go for it." aizawa says, "does the vigilante have any cases of killing a hero?" she asks, "not this one no." all might replys, "fine. you can tag along, but only because they are powerful enemies." mina says, "great. katsuki will go for me since he is afraid of what ill do if he hurts you too bad, izuku will subconsciously hold back and wont aim for the head, chest, or rear, he will be scared youll think hes a pervert. he also doesnt want ochako to leave him." you say quickly, "okay! so send me in fist naked, ill have izuku 'accidentally' touch my 'boob' and he will get to flustered to fight, ill just have him touch my back or something." tooru says, "good plan, radio mina when you figure out where the bomb is, with her acid we can make an unexpected entrance through the floor or walls." you say. "got it!" tooru says before running off. "how much are you overclocking?" mina asks, "none yet, i want to test out my overblasts, if i get into combat then ill need to though." you say, "oh! tooru just said they are on the second floor, second door to the right, izuku is a red ball on the ground and katsuki is on high alert." mina says, "follow me." you say before running inside, you purposefully pass the staircase and get to where the room should be, just below it. "okay, make some acid but dont push all the way through yet, im gonna make a small hole to make sure we dont damage the bomb." you say, after she makes the ceiling far thinner you use a very small overblast to carve a hole, when you look through it you see the bomb on the other side of the room. you motion more mina to corrode through the rest and jump up. "hey guys." you say casually, izuku was on the floor crying and katsuki was looking at him in disgust. "hey (y/n). that was a pretty good plan." he says, "but it wont work!" at this he sends a massive explosion at you, you push mina out of the way and dodge it. you then send a low powered overblast a him, when it hits him it sends him back a bit, "holy shit those hurt! its like a punch to the gut!" he yells in anger, "good." you say before sending an even more powerful one, this one hits him in the head and knocks him out. "(y/n)! you said you would kill them!" mina says in horror. "i lied. you can keep the bomb though." you say, "(y-y/n)...please forgive me...i didnt mean too, she was invisible ochako is gonna hate me!" izuku cries on the ground, "chill dude, im only gonna beat you up for the mission, and yea, that was the point, you touched her back." you explain, "and ochako isnt gonna hate you, even if it was her breast, she would just be sad she wasnt enough for you, and want you not to leave." you say, while helping him get up. "w-why are you doing this?" he asks, "remember these?" you ask pointing at the patches, "i dont wanna beat you up while you a heap on the floor, i wanna beat you up while you can fight back." you say getting into a fighting stance, he does the same and says, "bring it on." with a smirk you jump at him with overclock x15 and go for a kick to the head, he dodges and returns it with a punch to the gut, after recovering you try to kick his legs out from under him, when he falls you kick him across the room. "are you dead?" you ask jokingly, "not yet!" he says as he throws a punch at you, you dodge and send your own punch, he dodges and counters with a kick to the knee, while your falling he pulls out the capture tape and attempts to capture you, before he can you kick him in the temple knocking him out instantly. "you may have defeated the villains but your still a criminal!" mina says, "mina watch this." as you say this you jump out a window, you hear her shriek with terror as you fall, you then use many small overblasts to help you levitate back up to the window. "pretty neat huh?" you joke, "i thought you died!" she yells, "nope! i can fly now, see ya!" you say as you make them much more powerful to send you farther away. "the villains have been killed and the vigilane got away. everyone return to the monitoring room, please take your unconscious friends with you." aizawa says, when you get there aizawa addresses a few problems, "(y/n), good job befriending the heroes so you wouldnt have t ofight them, heroes, you shouldnt always trust what a vigilante says, we confirmed he killed no heroes, however he has killed many villains." all might says, "thanks." you say, "that was a cruel plan!" ochako tells tooru, "it was all (y/n)." she lies, "(y/n)! first you make deku cry, then you betray the girls, then you hurt him, and then you made me think you died!" she yells at you, you just hug her, well i lied to them so i wouldnt have to fight them, i knew if izuku and katsuki worked together we couldnt win, they would also hurt mina and tooru, so i had to get one of them out of the way, and hurting izuku was part of my task. he wouldnt have wanted me to go easy on him." you explain, "what if i was a villain?" ochako asks, "then i would help the heroes capture you, i wouldnt let you get hurt though, because that brakes my promise and eliminates my one goal: for you all to feel safe." you explain kindly. "fine, but you better apologize to him!" she pouts, "deal."
