Patton shook with nerves, clutching a ring tightly in his hand. He stared at Logan who lay next to him - fast asleep. He had wanted to propose to Logan for a few months now but every time he would back out in fear, wondering if Logan would say yes or not.
He knew he would never have the guts to, but he wants to propose, not the other way round so he decided he would propose...while Logan was asleep.
"Logan..." he whispered so silently it was barely audible, "I love you, very much" he carried on, softly taking a hold of his hand and bringing it up.
"And I want to be yours and you to be mine...forever" he whispered, a smile forming on his face. This isn't so bad.
"And I wanted to know...if you would marry me?" He knew he wouldn't get a reply so he slipped the ring on his finger, pressing a kiss to his lips before rolling over onto his side, his back facing Logan.
A few minutes later two arms wrapped around his waist and a body pressed against his back.
"I would love to marry you, Patton"
