With a figure like you have, some people find it hard to believe that you're very insecure.
The reason for that mainly is that most people think you've had plastic surgery, but that's absolutely not the case.
You hide your body with baggy clothes like that singer, Billie Eilish. You don't want the world gossiping about you and plastic surgery or maybe even objectifying you.
You've seen it with Natasha, since she's a female avenger with quite the body, she gets objectified all the time, you just didn't want that.
But ever since you got the invite to the annual pool party, you've been thinking about it. Mainly because of something Steve said the other day.
"I don't care what a girl looks like, I'm not interested in her body i'm interested whats on the inside.."
That got you thinking, why would it be so bad that your close friends knew about it?, it's not like they would leak it or be a dick about it, right?
The girls already knew, Wanda, Pepper and Nat. They too would be dressing very extravagant and sexy for this pool party, just to tease their men, that would be some comfort at least. Knowing that you wouldn't be the only one.
'Y/n... everything okay in there?' Natasha asks as she knocks on the wall next to the dressing room.
'Just a second!' You reply as you continue to stare at your body in the mirror.
There's only one problem, you don't have a bikini, and here's the perfect example of why. It is just hard to find one that fits nicely without looking like a complete.. well you get it.
Just like the one you have on now, it's a strong bikini, the only one they had in your size. And yet it still reveals so much. Much more than you're comfortable with.
'Y/n...' slowly the curtain moves a bit and Nats head peeks through.
She can see you're on the verge of crying, your bottom lip already caught between your teeth to prevent anyone from hearing.
'This is pointless...'
Nat gets in and closes the curtain behind her, she doesn't want anyone seeing you like this.
'We will find something that looks nice and that you'll feel comfortable in... don't worry.. Wanda And Pepper are working on it right now finding the one...'
