Silently Screaming For Help

|Chapter 20 : Tired|

"Amelia?"

"Huh? No I don't want a scone Daphne, leave be me" I mumbled as I lifted my head, peering down bleary eyed at the book I was using as a pillow before lifting my head as I looked to Blaise who was standing in front of me with his arms crossed and eyebrows raised

"One, I am not Daphne. Two, that didn't make any sense at all. Three, I don't have a scone to offer you and four, you need to pack this all away and get some sleep" he told me as I shook my head while he started picking up some of the books I had stacked up together as I tried to reach forward to grab them while he wandered off out of sight. Reaching for a few of the books my hands were grabbed as I looked to Blaise, watching as he took away the book I had on my legs before sitting down next to me as I shook my head after he brought me into a hug

"You need to sleep Amelia"

"I need to do my-"

"No you don't"

"But it's to be in for-"

"I'll do it"

"But you have your own-"

"I've finished mine. I'm not overwhelmed with work like you-"

"I'm not overwhelmed-"

"Please go to sleep Amelia" he said quietly as I mumbled quietly to myself as I rested my head against him, determined to keep myself awake.

Opening my eyes, I shuffled as I peered around confused

"Go back to sleep Lia"

"How long was I-?"

"A minute after you mumbled to yourself you were asleep. So almost a solid six hours-"

"Oh god I'm sorry. I'll move- I'm on top of you?" I asked as I looked down at where I was curled up on top of him with my head on his chest before glancing up, watching as Blaise nodded

"Yeah, I moved you a few hours ago. And you don't have to move, you're fine where you are"

"But you must have cramp"

"I don't actually. You should go back to sleep"

"But I have Astronomy and Defence Against the Dark Arts homework to do-"

"They're done"

"But I didn't make a-"

"Me and Draco finished them off while you were asleep"

"You did?"

"We did" he told me with a smile as I glanced around, catching sight of Draco sitting beside us, scribbling on a piece of parchment

"Thank you. You guys didn't have to"

"Yes we did, you can go back to sleep"

"I don't want to"

"Liar"

"Shut up" I mumbled as he let out a laugh and I bumped my head against him gently as I felt a poke to my side
