|Chapter 194 : Couch Talks|

Wandering into the common room I glanced about before catching sight of Draco lying across the couch with a book beside him as he spoke with a few guys from Durmstrang as I made my way over to him, waving to the others before laying down on the spare space beside him as he looked at me amused

"I usually greet people first, but alright" he said with a smirk as a small smile grew on my face and I offered him a small wave

"Are you alright?" Nodding my head I glanced up at him with a smile before looking at the book beside him

"I found it in the cabinet, I have no clue what it's about. Does it hurt to talk?"

"Kind of" I told him quietly as a pain ran through my throat and I looked at him with a weak smile

"It'll be easier if you just rest for a while. You look like you need to sleep" he pointed out with a small smile as I gave a shrug with a slightly amused look as I rested my head against his shoulder

"I'll see you when you wake up Lia"

Opening my eyes I moved my head and blinked heavily, trying to wake myself up as a small mumble got the better of me as I moved a hand and rubbed my face as I looked down and my face grew warm, finding myself lying on top of Draco with his leg crossed over mine while I looked to the quilt that was draped over me

"I moved you. I didn't think you had enough space where you were originally" Draco told me quietly as I looked up and caught sight of the amused smile on his face as he closed the book he was reading and slid it onto the table beside us

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, how long was I-?"

"About two hours, maybe more"

"Do you want me to move?"

"No you're fine where you are, unless you want to move?" He asked as I rested back against him and shook my head as my cheeks turned pink and he let out a light laugh

"I'll take that as a no- Zabini tried to get a picture"

"No, did he really? What did you do?"

"I told him that if he woke you I would curse him"

"You didn't have to-"

"Yes I did, you haven't been sleeping properly" he told me as I looked at the small smile he had on his face as he wrapped his arms around me and rested them on my back

"Lunch is soon if you want to go down, or you can stay and sleep if you'd prefer that"

I think I'll come down

"Are you sure?" He asked, eyebrows raised as I nodded and rubbed at my face before I pushed myself up and climbed off of him as he sat up while I threw the quilt over him and sat beside him as I was brought back into a hug

"I think you should stay in here and sleep"

"I'll still come down, see if I can get some soup... or a crumpet" I murmured amused as he smirked at me and I closed my eyes again. Opening my eyes again I heard quiet laughter as I rubbed at my face with a quiet mumble

"Morning"

"It's not morning"

"She doesn't know that"

"Yes I do" I mumbled as I looked up, catching sight of Aaron standing a couple of meters away with an amused grin on his face

"Again, morning"

Like Draco said: it's not morning. Did I fall back asleep?

"Yeah, lunch started twenty minutes ago" Draco told me as I nodded and lifted my head as I propped it in my hands

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine- what's that?" I asked quietly as I caught sight of the trunk behind Aaron as he looked at me with a small smile

"No"

"I'm sorry Amelia"

"Aaron, no... please don't go"

"I won't be-"

"Please don't. Stay until the end of the year, please"

"I'm meant to be leaving tonight"

"But I don't want you to leave" I mumbled before pushing myself up, my legs shaking slightly as I walked over to him as we brought each other into a gentle hug

"I know you don't"

"Do you have to?"

"No, I don't know actually"

"Can you ask to stay? Please?"

"I'll-"

"Your dad will let you if he knows it was me who asked"

"He will. I'll see what I can do, alright?" He asked with a light laugh as I nodded and we stepped back after another minute as he looked at his watch

"I'll go and ask now, I'll be back" nodding, I watched as he left the common room and I turned around after a moment and looked to Draco who had gotten to his feet and was stretching his arm as I wandered over and pulled him into a hug

"Oh, that was sudden"

"I know, I'm sorry"

"It's alright. Do you want to head down to lunch?"
