|Chapter 131 : Uncomfortable Concern|

"You've been shutting me out, Amelia-"

"Yes well I shut everyone out so don't take it personally" I told Cedric shortly as I sat outside on a bench in the courtyard while he stood in front of me, not looking up to him from my book as I waited for the next lesson to start

"Everybody is taking it personally Lia. Nobody knows what has gotten into you, we're terrified you're going to do something stupid to yourself"

"I don't need your misplaced concern so you can stop worrying" I told him quietly, moving slightly as I grimaced in pain, feeling cuts start to open along my arms and legs as I breathed out slowly as I tried to control my reaction towards it

"I've had Malfoy come up to me to ask what's been going on- he doesn't like me Lia-"

"He doesn't like me either so I don't get your point"

"My point is that everybody is quite frankly-"

"I've got class" I told him, purposely cutting him off as I stood up and walked back into the castle, leaving him in the courtyard as I headed down to potions quietly, avoiding lifting my head as I went into the classroom and sat down silently in my usual seat as Pansy, Blaise and Daphne sat around me a few minutes later as I looked up, instructions starting to appear on the board as I pulled out my potions kit, sighing at the ease of brewing a Wit- Sharpening Potion. Finishing a little while later and before everyone else I raised my hand, Snape slowly raising his eyes before getting up and making his way over as he peered into my cauldron for a minute before giving a nod

"Fifteen points for Slytherin, Miss Black"

"Sir, can I spend the rest of this lesson in the library finishing some work if there isn't anything else for me to do here?" I asked quietly, looking up for a second as he stared at me for a moment before giving a singular nod and turning away as I started packing up my things, leaving just a minute later as I shut the classroom door behind me before going up several flights of stairs as I rounded the corner, stopping in my tracks as a pair of feet stood in front of mine and I glanced up, Theodore looking at me with a small smile as I jumped backwards slightly

"Hello Amelia"

"What do you want, Nott?"

"I love you, you know that.... right?"

"I-"

"I only want what's best for you" Theodore told me quietly while hugging me, holding my head against his shoulder as I crossed my arms over my chest uncomfortably

"Stop it"

"Amelia, I need to let you know-"

"No! Stop it!" I told him loudly as I moved my hands to his chest and pushed him away from me as I instantly put distance between us as he stared at me

"Amelia-"

"Stop fucking doing this, Nott. You don't love me and you don't want the best for me in any sense whatsoever" I uttered quietly, staring at him in disbelief as he tried to take a step towards me and I instantly walked away down the corridor as everyone else started leaving class and going to the hall for lunch
