Sitting in the corner of the common room I looked down at my legs, my bones starting to become more prominent with every passing day as I struggled to hold my book in my hands, the weight causing an un-needed strain on my arms as I rested it down on my legs with the corners of the cover digging into the skin on my legs, glancing at the feet that appeared in front of me I lifted my head and looked at Miles as I shut my book

"Hey Lia"

"Hello"

"We have practice tonight"

"Oh...okay" I mumbled quietly, an unsure feeling lingering in my stomach as I remembered what Theodore had said and I pushed myself up with a slight struggle before grabbing my things

"Are you going to come down?"

"Maybe, see you later" I muttered as I walked past him and down to the girls dorm as I shut the door behind me in the empty room and threw my book to my bed as I went to the bathroom, staring at myself in the mirror, my skin paler than usual and my cheekbones being more visible than they should be as I stared at my eyes that seemed sunken into my skull before running my fingers gently through my hair, it feeling brittle and unhealthy to the touch as I sighed quietly, realising how far into this mess I had gotten myself.

Walking down to Astra's pen I walked past both Oscar and Tristan who were standing and brushing her mane as I opened the pen door and grabbed her water bucket as I dragged it out with difficulty before tipping it up and emptying it as I pulled it back in and used my wand to start filling it up

"Hi Lia"

"Hey"

"How're you?"

"Fine" I told Tristan shortly, keeping my back to them as I started mixing her some food and the three of us went quiet

"Oh, well we're fine thanks for asking Amelia, a little tired but good. We appreciate you asking" Oscar snapped back at me as I listened to Tristan tell him to shut up as I dropped the hay and flicked my wand as I turned around to him

"Remember, Oscar, I'm a Slytherin, it's not in my nature to care"

"I'm your brother-"

"That changes nothing"

"Well it wouldn't hurt you to say something decent to either of us-"

"Oh please Oscar, the only thing I'll ever say about you will be written on a bathroom wall and believe me, it'll be far from decent what I say" I explained to him, throwing a look at him as I shut the pen door and started walking away from the two and towards the pitch for practice, slightly dreading the looks and questions I knew I would instantly get.
