"So how was training?"

"Didn't go"

"But the scratches-"

"Lula"

"Jesus Lia, get your cat under control" Pansy muttered as I drew my sleeves over my hands, hiding the long and painful cuts that covered my skin as I felt Notts eyes burn into my back and I looked at her as she passed me my charms book

"So what did you two do instead?"

"Huh?"

"What did you and Draco do instead?"

"Draco went to practice, I didn't"

"Why did you skip?"

"I couldn't be bothered going"

"Has Bletchley pulled you up about it?"

"Nah. And it more than likely would be Adrian asking where I was considering he's taken it upon himself to make himself stand-in captain" I muttered to her as she flicked through my charms book for me as I pulled things out of my bag. Turning around for my book I looked at her as she sat there with it up in front of her face, lowering it slowly as I looked at the amused look plastered on her face

"What the fuck are you doing?"

"Amelia....?"

"What?"

"Are you in love with Draco?"

"I'm sorry?!"

"Are you or are you not?"

"Ehm- no- can't say that I am- I don't know what you're- Why?" I asked quickly, not able to control the fact that I was stumbling over my words as I propped my head up in my hands, hiding my red cheeks as her grin grew

"Because you're drawing 'A+D' in hearts everywhere on the spare parchment in your book"

"It's stands for anxiety and depression: what I have" I told her as we stared at each other for a moment before she started laughing and I took my book back from her, a small smile on my face as her laughter became louder

"Why're you so red?"

"Because I'm sitting next to an embarrassment"

"No.... Blaise is on the other side of the room" she mumbled quietly as the two of us started laughing, the lesson soon starting as we forced ourselves to stop.

"Where you going again?"

"Away to check on Astra"

"But you'll be missing lunch"

"I'll be fine-"

"You didn't have breakfast either"

"I'm sorry but how often do you actually see me eat breakfast?" I asked Pansy, raising my eyebrows as she glanced away and I smiled before wandering away from her as everybody else left the greenhouse and started heading up to the castle as I walked in the direction of Hagrid's hut as I slipped around the back and opened Astras pen as she came out happily and I started refilling her food basket

"It's been a long time since I've seen her" turning around a smile grew on my face as LJ wandered over, smiling at Astra before turning back to me and starting to help

"You alright?"

"Yeah, you?"

"I'm great thanks. Something on your mind?"

"What's the Yule Ball?" I asked as I stopped, standing up right as I watched him pause before lifting his head, a smirk growing as he raised his eyebrows at me

"Have you been asked to go to it like?"

"Why?"

"I'm curious. Have you?"

"Yes-"

"No way.... who asked you? And when?"

"Draco.... yesterday before he went to practice he just randomly brought it up...." I mumbled, cutting myself off as I watched him stand up, an overly amused look on his face

"What?"

"Nothing"

"No.... that smile says something. And I don't know what. And that scares me"

"Don't worry about it-"

"You saying that makes me worry"

"Gee, thanks-"

"So what is it?"

"Nothing, I just know someone who's going to be jealous"

"What?"

"You'll find out soon enough"

"That sounds like a bloody threat"

"It's not a threat, now come on, I want to see if we can still get dessert"
