I really loved the company of my aunts. At my father's side, I had four, all married. My father was the only man.

It was always a moment of glee, when they reunited, they were light and humble, that's what I loved about them. They were all happy to know Ville.

"Oh Eve, your fiancé is pretty handsome and charming." My aunt Claire said and I laughed. "Yeah, he is." She asked me more about him and all my aunts gathered to hear, my mom laughed at their reaction.

Ville was really happy about the food, I've never seen him so delighted with it. My aunts made a whole Japanese dinner with lots of things he could eat, different kinds of sushi, mushrooms and vegetables. Japanese food was one of his favourite foods.

"This food is better than any restaurant, everything is delicious."

"You're such a liar, but thanks." My aunt Paula said and we laughed. He was the center of attentions, everybody wanted to know more about him and he didn't seemed to bother. They asked me about all that happened in Finland with me. They were a bit shocked and worried about Marius' episode.

"Ville, you must have realised by now, but Eve is a bit crazy, please don't let her fight people like that." My aunt Claire said and she shared some stories about me, obviously. Ville had fun listening to them. He was genuinely happy to be there.

The moment of truth arrived. My uncle Fred, married to my aunt Paula, was a professional singer, only in contests, it was a hobby but he took it seriously. He and Ville talked a lot about it, and they had the karaoke equipment ready. My whole family sang a lot, mostly Japanese songs.

"Eve was the best when she was small. She beat anyone at the karaoke, her grades were always 9 or 10." I just loved my aunt Claire. She was also my godmother, and she treated me like a daughter.

"She's exaggerating, it's just because I was the only kid who sang those dramatic Japanese songs rather than sing children's songs. They were boring."

Ville laughed. "That's something you would do."

Everybody was singing and Ville was delighted to hear Japanese folk songs. "It's so peculiar, I'm loving it. Won't you sing for me, kulta?" He playfully frowned.

"Oh no, please. I don't sing these songs since I was ten. After discovering Rock n' Roll, my soul was dammed forever."

He giggled. "Yeah, I know how it is. But there's other stuff here. Look, Rebel Yell! Sing with me, please."

"Oh, I suck."

"You definitely not. Come on. Fred, put this song for us, we're going next."

"I can't believe it. My daughter doesn't sing with me for nearly 15 years." My dad complained and we laughed about his jealously. "Choose a song, Ando, I'll sing with you. Not in Japanese, of course." Ville said.

Rebel Yell started to play and I wanted to hear Ville sing it. I glanced at everybody and they were impressed by his vocals abilities. I just sang the chorus with him and he made me sing the second part. I felt so happy to share these moments with him. I had to read the lyrics but of course he knew them by heart, he didn't take his eyes off me. I felt myself blushing in front of my relatives. Everybody cheered when we finished and he had a good laugh, he held me by the waist and kissed me. I felt shy, I didn't feel so comfortable with a boyfriend in front of my whole family like I did with Ville. He was just too special.

My mom made him sing some Elvis songs and my dad joined him. Now Ville definitely conquered my whole family. By Ville's pressure, I sang a Japanese song with my father and seeing his smile, it was worth it.
