Ville knew a lot of people in the US, we met some of his friends whilst there, so he was always surrounded by people. This was our second time here, and the first wasn't so memorable. Our plans were ruined because I had to go back to Helsinki, to support Anita when she lost a relative, so it was exciting to be back, knowing new places with him and Charlie.

And eat a lot of junk food. Ville loved to try new veggie burgers, those were on the top of his food list, but for Charlie wasn't so easy. For some reason, she didn't like the food at all, it was troublesome. It was a crazy routine, everyday playing in a different city. Every concert was fully booked, sometimes Ville had some trouble with the sound engineers and here in the US people weren't so subtle when they were angry at him, so we had daily stressful situations, it wasn't nothing glamorous, and many times it wasn't fun at all for the band. I saw a side of their routine I haven't before.

Sleeping in the bus was also a bit weird. Usually I didn't feel it shaking, but when was raining I was a bit afraid of the slippery roads. Charlie also complained she missed her bed. I was expecting she had more fun with all the fuss.

I was feeling tired. I worked a bit on some paper I was starting. During my free time I would go to the local library and did some research, Lee helped me with Charlie. I was sleeping alright, so I didn't knew why I was feeling so tired lately. "Maybe the mattress isn't good for you." Ville said, while we were trying to rest at night.

"No, it's comfy. I really don't know."

"Are you eating proper?"

"I am." He raised a brow. "I swear."

"Maybe it's just the routine." We were on the first week and it felt like a month already. Ville seemed happy to have us, so I tried my best to look fine.

We were in Ohio and we saw the sun coming out in days. Ville and the guys unfortunately had to rehearse, so me and Lee went to a park with Charlie, she needed a bit of the nature, as a true Finn. "Eve? Are you okay?"

"It's just a headache."

"You've been having a lot of them lately."

"Almost daily, yeah. Maybe I should check my glasses, I don't know."

"Maybe. Do you want to look for a doctor?"

"No, not now. Charlie is having fun. Come, let's take some ice cream. That will help with the headache."

We were waiting in the line in the ice cream parlour, Charlie was choosing her flavours. She had a funny habit while we were in the US, she would mostly speak in Finnish. Maybe she thought the North American accent too much different. Ville had an English accent for some reason, mine was a mix of everything.

"What's gonna be, darling?"

"Sukkla ja mansikka."

"You want two flavours?" I chuckled. "Chocolate and strawberries, please." She looked delighted at it. When the lady gave me the cone, it slipped through my hands. I just couldn't hold it.

"Oh, I'm so sorry miss."

"No, it's my fault, I'm sorry. Can you give me another one, please?"

"Let me." Lee caught it for me, and she eyed me with a worried face. "Here, Charlie."

"Kii- thanks." I was confused by the languages.

"Ve, are you alright?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Uh, nothing."

"What is it, Lee?"

"It's just... Oh, it's nothing."
