This next chilling tale is about what happens to a young lady when she awakens in the middle of the night.
Esther went to the kitchen after having trouble sleeping. She noticed her husband had fallen asleep on the couch watching television. She decided just to let him sleep the rest of the night on the couch and proceeded to the kitchen sink to get some water. As she turned on the water she noticed blood in the sink and started to panic.
She went to the living room to awaken her husband and she screamed. There on the couch was her husband covered in blood. She stood still as a statue as she noticed the creaking floor behind her. The last words she heard were, "You should have stayed asleep, Esther."
