This next chilling tale is about an operation that is unnecessary.

I felt the pain of every little stitch as I was lying there on that table. I thought I was having a nightmare at first but I looked down at my side and he was stitching me up. I did not remember going into surgery and did not know what was going on. I could not see the surgeon's face but somehow he looked familiar.

When he finished stitching me up he took his mask off and I was utterly shocked. It was my father. I could not believe this. My father was never a doctor let alone a surgeon. What was he doing to me?

I tried to talk but was unable to. He pulled the curtain around and there was my mother standing there with a smile on her face. I looked at her with a puzzled look on my face and she spoke to me. " I think he will learn his lesson this time." The memory of two nights ago flooded through my mind. I had not only taken their car without permission but I had hit a fire hydrant with it.

I could hear my parents after I went to bed that night and I guess they were serious when they said they were going to give me a good scare.
