NXT War Games was coming up very soon, which meant that you were on your toes all day with work to do. Being the assistant and manager of the current NXT UK champion Pete Dunne wasn't exactly a dream job. The man was more rude than anyone you'd ever met, you'd swear that you never saw him even crack a little smile, ever.

"Come on Y/N." Pete complains as you hurry along a few feet behind him.

"I'm coming." You sigh and lug the champs heavy title on your shoulder since he didn't want to carry it.

Pete had insisted on having another chat and training session with Ricochet and War Raiders before they had their War Games match in a few days with Undisputed Era. Which meant that you were in for another night of fetching water and towels for three very rude men. Sure Ricochet wasn't usually rude to you, but that didn't really matter when Pete and War Raiders were around.

"Hand me my bag." Pete stops when he gets into the gym.

You hand over the gym bag that you'd been carrying on your other shoulder and silently sigh in relief.

"Stay here, i'll be right back." Pete heads off to the locker rooms, leaving you to stand with his heavy ass championship still resting on your shoulder.

You were a small girl, only 5'2 and barely a hundred pounds. So carrying anything was a bit of a challenge for you, especially the heaviest title belt that WWE currently had. You sigh and wait for Pete to come back from the locker rooms.

On the other side of the gym Bobby rolls into the room with the rest of Undisputed Era around him for a workout. He glances around the room and spots you, red in the face and looking worn out.

"Oh man." Bobby speaks aloud and shakes his head.

"What's up Fish?" Kyle turns to his friend when he sees Bobby's upset face.

"Poor Y/N man." Bobby gestures across the room at you.

"Y/N? Dunne's assistant?" Adam furrows his brows. "What about her?" He turns back to Bobby.

"I feel bad for her man, she deserves so much better than Dunne." Bobby shakes his head again.

Kyle and Adam share a look with Roderick, they all were thinking the same thing at the same time. As usual.

"Don't tell us you've got a thing for her?" Roderick asks, or more laughs.

"What if i do?" Bobby replies sharply. "She's pretty, and nice. And yeah maybe i do like her." He defends himself.

"Calm down man." Adam pats Bobby on the back. "We're only teasing you man, you should go talk to her." He grins and give Fish a light push.

Bobby nods his head, courage suddenly present in him. His buddies watch as he carefully makes his way over to you.

You still stand in place, waiting for Pete to come back from the locker room. You swore the man took more time to change than anyone you knew. All of a sudden someone taps your shoulder, you turn around to see Bobby Fish smiling nervously at you.

"Umm......hi." You look confused at the man in front of you. "Can i help you Bobby?" You ask him curiously.

"Me? No." Bobby shakes his head. "You just looked kind of tired, i was wondering what you were doing in the gym all tired and alone is all." Bobby asks you, a small lick of concern in his voice.

"Oh." You can't help but smile a bit. "Thanks for the concern, but i'm just waiting for Dunne in the locker rooms is all." You explain the absence of your champion.

"Oh." Bobby nods his head quietly. "Well take care then, hope he doesn't keep you here long." Bobby then smiles and walks back over to his buddies.

You smile and give him a small wave before you go back to aimlessly waiting for Pete to finally get changed. Pete comes striding out of the locker room as soon as you turn around.

"What was that?" Pete asks you in a pissed tone as he gets to your side.

"What was what?" You reply confused and annoyed.

"Why in the hell were you talking to Bobby Fish?" Pete confronts you.

"He just asked me if i was alone, or lost." You reply with a small roll of the eyes. "So calm down." You insist.

Pete gruffly rolls his eyes and drags you away to the other side of the gym with Ricochet and War Raiders for the night.

The next day or so is hell for you, Pete has you on your feet more than ever. The only good part of the day comes when you by chance pass Bobby in the hall or the gym and he gives you that cute million dollar smile of his.

Back with Bobby and the rest of Undisputed Era, they all come up with a game plan to win the War Games match. And with a little help from Bobby, Adam hatches a brilliant idea.

"If Bobby can convince her to put this lock on when the last guy is left in his cage, then we can earn a huge advantage in the match." Adam explains the plan to the rest of the group. "And it all works out for all of us. She gets away from her tyrant of a champion, Bobby gets his dream girl, and we win the match." All the rest of the group agrees.

"That's if i can even get her to do it." Bobby speaks up.

"She will." Kyle insists with a smile. "We've seen the way she looks at you in the hall man." He reminds Bobby of all the looks over the past few days.

Bobby owns up and agree to the idea.

A few hours later, you head out to the ramp with Pete ahead of you. Him and the rest of his team file into the cage and the door gets shut and locked. You glance at Bobby when he walks out with his team, giving you a small smile.

The match starts and goes on for a while, it comes down to Pete and Ricochet in your cage, and Bobby and Kyle in the other. You're paying attention to the ring when all of a sudden you hear your name being softly called. You look over to see Bobby beckoning to you. With Pete busy watching the match you slip over to the other side of the ramp.

"Y/N, sweetheart." Bobby grins softly at you when you lean down to the cage bars. "How are you? Listen i've got a favor to ask you." He looks up at you with soft eyes. "I know how Dunne treats you, and it isn't right. A lovely girl like you should get respect and affection. And....and i like you...i really do." He pours a heartfelt explanation out to you. "Look, this is a lock. Put it on the bars right before Dunne leaves the cage, as soon as this whole thing is over i've got you." He explains.

"What?" You reply, a little surprised.

"We'll all make sure he never comes near you again, i'll make sure of it." Bobby insists and hands you the lock. "But you don't have to if you don't want to." He makes sure to add.

You nod and hurry back over to the other cage. The clock starts counting down to the last person to be let out a little later in the match. You look down at the ring, at Bobby smiling at you. Then you step in front of the official and clamp down the lock on the door.

"Y/N, what the hell!" Pete yells at you.

"Screw you Dunne." You sneer and step back away from the cage.

The officials finally get the door unlocked and the real match begins. You helping with the door makes sure that Bobby and his teams wins. And as soon as the bell rings Bobby is the first one out of the cage and up the ramp. Picking you up in victory.

"I knew you could do it sweetheart, welcome to Undisputed Era." He beams at you as he's joined by the rest of his companions.

"Yeah well done Y/N, you and Bobby are gonna be just fine with us around now." Adam pats Bobby's shoulder.

"Thanks guys." You happily grin to yourself.
