"We aren't going to harm Jean" You offer your advice to the team.
To be fair, you mean it as more of a state -ment and theres no room for argument.
"Y/N ... Jean is dangerous, we need to get her off the streets" Scott reasons.
"No. Phoenix's the dangerous one. Jean's still the girl that I love" You argued.
"I know but shes a danger to humanity!" Xavier snaps at you.
"That is our job. But it doesn't mean that we're killing Jean" You holster your gun.
You're team came to find you whilst you were doing target practice.
"I never said that" Xavier points out and you smile at him, sadly.
"But if push came to shove, we'll have to kill her" You finished for him.
"Probably ..." Mystique agrees with what your saying.
"There's no probably about it" Her voice rang through your ears.
"What do you want ?" You questions her through gritted teeth.
"You doll" She held her hand out in your direction.
"Don't, Grey. Your not yourself anymore" You slowly picked up your gun.
"Put it down. I know that you don't want to hurt me" She turned to you.
Jean had glowing red vein on the side of her face and her eyes were orange.
"I don't" You cock your weapon, holding it out in her direction.
"You love me just a little too much to kill me" The confidence in her tone annoyed you.
"Are you sure about that ?" You shoot an warning shot.
The bullet only missed Jean by a couples of centimetres.
She bite her bottom lip after she realizes you're willing to kill her.
"Maybe you would" Jean punches Xavier in the stomach.
You use your heat vision, similar to your brother Scott's powers.
Jean held Xavier infront of her and used him as a human shield.
"Let the hostage go. No-ones needs to get harmed" You reasoned.
Youre forced to turn off your heat vision and stand down.
She throws Xavier in your direction and Mystique is quick to catch him.
"Guess I'll see you around, babygirl" She smirks as she exits the room.
"Next time, you'll be dead" You muttered as you helped Xavier.
