chapter 09: I will Lose Weight

In winter, night fell early. At the evening, it was dark and cold outside. Servants in Shuqing Yard tightened their clothes to keep the cold wind out.

Hei Xuanyi and Wu Ruo left after they had dinner.

Wu Ruo’s carriage had already been waiting at the gate. At the sight of his carriage, Wu Ruo halted and had no intention to get on.

He still remembered when he left the Wu family on the same day in last life the carriage collapsed unexpectedly and he fell down on the ground and hit on the back of his head. It was not until three days later that he came around.

Thanks to the thick layers of clothes he wore that day and his fat, his bone wasn’t broken. But it took him a month to get out of the bed. The new travelled fast in the city and people laughed at him for breaking such a strong carriage with that fat body.

Now that he came to think of it, the carriage was custom made by his mother. She must have tested it many times before she was sure it was safe for him to use. There was no chance it could be broken that easily. therefore, he had a good reason to suspect someone did it on purpose.

As Wu Ruo gave a look at the driver, the driver looked at him as well.

But soon he looked away as though he was avoiding a direct eye contact.

Wu Ruo narrowed his eyes.

“Sir, please.” Wu Da, the servant, said.

Wu Ruo looked at Wu Da coldly and sharply as though he could read his mind, which made Wu Da tremble in fear and look away.

Wu Ruo jerked his head at Wu Xiao on his left side.

Wu Xiao lowered his head and avoid Wu Ruo’s eye contact.

Wu Ruo sneered in mind. The two brothers must have known there had been something wrong with the carriage. And they must be bribed by someone else. Otherwise, Wu Yu came to help him every time he was bullied.

In last life, he even gave them a lot of money so that they could marry beautiful wives. This was how they repaid him.

Wu Ruo pursed his lips. He had to get rid of them.

“Sir, please” Wu Da repeated.

Wu Ruo looked at Hei Xuanyi’s carriage and said, “I will share a ride with my husband.”

“But his carriage is too small…”

Wu Ruo walked directly to Hei Xuanyi’s carriage and squeezed his body into the it under the witness of Hei Xuan’s bodyguard, Hei Gan. The spacious six-feet-wide carriage was cramped suddenly because of him. Even Hei Xuanyi was forced to stay still at the corner.

“…” Hei Xuanyi shot a cold stare at Wu Ruo.

Wu Ruo moved his six-feet wide butt and finally managed to find a comfortable position, and he exhaled, “thank you for your help today.”

“Get out.” Hei Xuanyi’s lower body under his neck was quite against Wu Ruo’s body. Basically, his body was drowned into Wu Ruo’s body and he was literally out of breath.

Wu Ruo ignored his friendlessness, “my carriage is broken.”

“…” Hei Xuanyi stared at him for a moment and said, “go home.”

However, the carriage didn’t move.

As Hei Xuanyi was about to ask why, Hei Gan said, “excuse me, sir. The horse can’t make the carriage go.”

It couldn’t be more awkward in the carriage.

“…” Hei Xuanyi.

Wu Ruo lowered his head and remained silent. He weighed more than three hundred kilos, plus Hei Xuanyi, the driver and the carriage. They weighed over five hundred kilos. Besides, it was snowing and the floor was slippery. One horse was not strong enough to make the carriage go.

“Make it two horses.” Hei Xuanyi gave a look at Wu Ruo.

“Yes, sir.”

Wu Ruo forced a smile, “I will lose my weight.”

“No need.” Hei Xuanyi pushed away his belly which bounced back right after, “you are fine.”

“…” Wu Ruo’s eyes twitched as he saw the man enjoying playing his belly. How dare he play his belly for fun?!
