chapter 16: Bewitched Worm

Hei Xin hired a group of carpenters who were not only excellent at skills but also working fast. It spent them only one day to get the room ready and made a 12-feet wide bed, and as well as a 12-feet wide quilt. Hei Xin also told them to stuff the bed underneath so that no one could break it.

After nightfall, Wu Ruo stood in front of the big bed and watched it for a long time. If it were not for the quilt, he would have thought it was not a bed, but a small room.

With the support of the bedposts, he sat on the bed and thought, was Hei Xuanyi really going to sleep on the same bed with him?

They had never slept on the same bed in last life. Was it because his attitude towards him had changed this life so everything had changed?

Wu Ruo sighed.

He took himself too seriously. Sleeping on the same bed didn’t mean Hei Xuanyi would be interested in him.

Soon, Hei Xuanyi walked in the room. His hair was not dried yet. He took off his gown, lied next to Wu Ruo and flicked a finger to put out the candle.

Wu Ruo rolled over and over again as he was not accustomed to sleep next to someone else. The cold wind got into the cover, making his body difficult to warm up.

“Sleep.” Hei Xuanyi said with his deep voice.

Suddenly an arm was put around his waist and the man behind him moved closer to him.

He moved a bit, trying to get rid of his arm. But the man asked, “do you have spiritual power?”
