chapter 14: This Is your Son

Wu Ruo caught the egg in a hurry. “My egg?” He was confused.

Jixi would have rolled his eyes at him if he could, “It came out between your legs. Who else it could be?”

“What?” Wu Ruo looked shocked, “between my legs?”

What the fuck!

Are you freaking kidding me?!

Jixi didn’t want to waste more time explaining and disappeared.

Wu Ruo tried to stop him anxiously, holding the egg in his arms, “hey! Hey! Tell me more!”

He was a man. How could he lay eggs?

Was it possible that Jixi made a joke on him with the egg to get back at him because he called him out in sleep?

But for what he knew about Jixi, he was not such a person who could make jokes. So, was it true that it was his egg?

But how did it come out?

Only Jixi could give him the answer. He would come back for him eventually.

Wu Ruo tried to use spiritual power to feel what was in the egg but he could only see a big ball of white meat.

At the moment, Hei Xuanyi pushed the door open and walked inside the room. He scanned the room with his sharp eyes, “has devils come?”

Hei Xuanyi didn’t ask more since Wu Ruo was fine. He laid his eyes on the big white egg in Wu Ruo’s arms.

It was rare to see he reacted differently other than indifference.

As soon as Wu Ruo imagined how it would look like when Hei Xuanyi hatched the egg, he couldn’t help but laughing.

A long while later, he finally stopped laughing and asked, “what time is it now?”

“5 or 6 am.”

“Can you go out and have someone helped me bathe and dress up?”

Hei Xuanyi walked out of the room and passed the egg to Hei Gan, “hatch it in person.”

“My son.”

“!!!” Hei Gan was shocked with eyes wide open, holding the egg tightly.

Did he hear that right? This egg is the master's son?

Hei Xuanyi had a small smile as he was amused by Hei Gan’s stupid reaction. It was fun to play jokes sometimes. No wonder Wu Ruo just played that joke on him.

Hei Xuanyi soon put away his smile and jerked to go. But soon he turned back and got the egg back, and left the backyard.

“…” Hei Gan’s eyes twitched but he was excited deep inside. After a while, he ordered the corpse servant, “you go inside and serve his ladyship.”

“We can do it.” Wu Da and Wu Xiao ran inside the room.

Wu Ruo frowned as he saw them.

In last life, after he was married, every time he woke up, he had to demand a few times to get the Wu brothers to come in to wait on him. Why were they so proactive now?

"Master," Wu Da looked at him ingratiatingly.

Wu Xiao however gave him a pair of puppy eyes, "master, you don't want us, do you?"

Did the master blame them for coming back late last night?

But they were not the ones to be blamed. Since the carriage was broken, they had to take it for repair.

“Why did you say that?” Wu Ruo asked calmly.

“Hei Gan sends ten servants to you.”
