“I really don’t know you.” Wu Ruo said at half joke.

How could he ever know such a brute who had murdered his father and mother?

“You…” Ruan Zhizheng was outraged by him. As he was about to lose his temper, Wu Ruo smiled the way he used to, “are you mad at me?”

Ruan Zhizheng was surprised by what kind of nonsense Wu Ruo was up to.

Wu Ruo snorted, “you haven’t come for half a month. You must have forgotten me. Do you know what Wu’s servants said about you? They said that you make a friend with such a loser like me is because I make you feel useful about yourself.”

As Ruan Zhizheng’s secret was out, his face was rigid and said angrily, “nonsense. I am not that kind of person.”

When he said that, he couldn’t look directly at Wu Ruo because of guilt.

Wu Ruo looked with half a smile and thought, yes, you are definitely such kind of person.

Ruan Zhizheng was at such a young age. He had a guilty face as Wu Ruo had only one attempt. In last life, 13 years later, Ruan Zhizheng was good enough to hide his true feelings deep inside himself.

“Of course I know you are not like that. But I am mad at them for judging you like that. And I am so mad that it takes you so long to visit me. You have to make it up for me today. We are going to drink all day.”

“No problem.” Ruan Zhizheng smiled as he looked at Shijiu and the servants, “you got new servants? Where are Wu Da and Wu Xiao?”

“They are going to get married 10 days later. Now they are preparing for it.” Wu Ruo explained.

“It’s been only half a month. Why are they getting married suddenly?” Ruan Zhizheng was surprised.

“They are about age. And their parents rush them to get married.”

“t’s true.” Ruan Zhizheng looked at him, “right. How are you doing right now in this family?”

“Not very well.” Wu Ruo pretended that he didn’t like mentioning Hei Xuanyi and said heavily, “where have you been for half a month? You didn’t go somewhere to learn something, did you?”

“I wish I could learn something from a great master Shifu. But who would want me as a pupil?”

Wu Ruo could tell he was not lying.

In last life before his power was unsealed, he used to hang out with Ruan Zhizheng. It was true that Ruan Zhizheng had no master Shifu by that time. In later years, Wu Ruo didn’t have much time to spend time with him because he concentrated on cultivation. Therefore, he didn’t know why and how he knew the mysterious man.

“Does your aunt still refuse to teach you Yin Yang skills?” Wu Ruo asked.

Ruan Zhizheng was just born in a small family. He only learned some low-level skills. If it were not for his aunt Ruan Lanru, a distant aunt of Ruan Zhizheng’s, Ruan Zhizheng wouldn’t have no chance to get to know anyone from big families.

“She doesn’t believe that I am good for learning Yin Yang skills. How could she agree to hire someone to teach me?” Ruan Zhizheng said with anger and resentment, “Brother, we haven’t seen each other for over half a month. Let’s not talk about her. Come on. Let’s go and have a good drink.”

Brother?

Wu Ruo sneered in mind. In last life when he was lying on bed for more than a month because of injury, Ruan Zhizheng only came to see him once and later he explained to him that he didn’t come because the Hei family didn’t welcome. He, thus, had a bad impression on Hei Xuanyi.

Now come to think of it, it was just an excuse that Ruan Zhizheng didn’t want to see him. He made that excuse because he was sure Wu Ruo wouldn’t confront Hei Xuanyi.

Wu Ruo and Ruan Zhizheng came to the yard he used to live and order the kitchen to serve food and liquor. They drunk all night and they were obviously drunk by the middle of night.

Ruan Zhizheng was mad, “I have spiritual power. Why am I not good enough to learn Yin Yang skill? She definitely looks down on me because I am just a distant relative. And she thinks I am a trouble.”

Wu Ruo said while he was drunk, “you are so great. How can’t you not be good to learn Yin Yang skill? In my opinion, your aunt refuses to teach you because she is afraid that you would become more powerful than my cousins.”

Ruan Zhizheng felt comforted by Wu Ruo and bottomed up.

Shiyi walked in and said, “my lady, Mr. Ruan’s servants are here to pick him up.”

“Send them in and take him home.” Wu Ruo said.

“Yes.”

Ruan Zhizheng’s four bodyguards were drunk too. They were too drunk to stand on feet and but still struggled to help Ruan Zhizheng left Wu Ruo’s yard.

After they left, the drunk Wu Ruo returned the sober one as though he had never drunk at all.

“My lady, it’s all set up.” Shiyi came forward and whispered.

“Help me go to bed now.” Wu Ruo sneered.

“Yes.” Shiji helped him walk into the bed and took off his clothes.

“Remember to get everything back.”

Wu Ruo said before he fell into sleep. In the morning next day, before dawn, someone was shouting outside the room, “bad news, sir.”
