one day, Calico Jack and kwazii were doing a Treasure hunt together, Kwazii dug around to help his grandfather, Calico Jack looked at the map and kept an eye on kwazii and Pete, Kwazii looked into the hole he dug and found nothing, but something that looked like dust, it made him cough.

they did find some pretty rocks and left it at that and went back to camp, Kwazii was having a camping trip with his grandfather "hey where did my octo-watch go?" Kwazii asked "uhm, your arm?" Calico Jack laughed a bit, thinking Kwazii was making a joke "oh yeah, thanks" Kwazii said and layed down to sleep, Calico Jack noticed some green patches in kwazii's fur, was his fur changing color? 

he slept on it, in the morning he saw Kwazii was still asleep, which was unnormal for him as he normally was the first to get up during the whole trip, Calico Jack noticed that his fur changed more, he started to get worried about kwazii.

Calico Jack decided to call the Octopod and ask for help.

He used his octo-watch to sound the Octo-Alert.

"Octonauts, to the Gup-X," Barnacles said.

The Octonauts boarded the Gup-X and followed Calico Jack's signal.

They arrived at his camp and saw him waiting for them.

"Calico Jack, what's going on?" Barnacles asked.

"It's Kwazii, Captain," Calico Jack said. "He's not well. He's been acting strange and forgetful, and his fur is turning green."

"Green?" Peso said. "That doesn't sound good."

"Where is he?" Shellington asked.

"He's in the tent, sleeping," Calico Jack said. "He didn't wake up this morning."

The Octonauts followed Calico Jack to the tent and saw Kwazii lying on a sleeping bag.

He looked pale and sick, and his fur was covered in green patches.

"Kwazii, can you hear me?" Peso said, gently shaking him.

Kwazii opened his eyes and looked at Peso.

"Who are you?" he asked.

Peso gasped.

"It's me, Peso," he said. "Your friend. Don't you remember me?"

Kwazii shook his head.

"No, I don't," he said. "Who are you? Who are all of you?"

The Octonauts were shocked and saddened.

Kwazii didn't recognize any of them.

Not even his grandfather.

"What's wrong with him?" Calico Jack asked.

"I don't know," Peso said. "But we have to find out."

He took out his medical bag and examined Kwazii.

He checked his temperature, his pulse, and his blood pressure.

He took a sample of his fur and put it under a microscope.

He saw something that made him gasp again.

"Shellington, look at this," he said, showing him the microscope.

Shellington looked and saw what Peso saw.

A strange fungus growing on Kwazii's fur.

"It looks like a mold," Shellington said. "But I've never seen anything like it before."
