One day Calico Jack was walking around when he heard screaming "I DIDN'T STEAL ANYTHING LET ME GO LET ME GO!" it screamed... it sounded like kwazii....

he ran to the noise where he saw kwazii being... Arrested? Calico Jack got confused "what's happening...?" Calico Jack asked.

Calico Jack saw a group of guards dragging Kwazii to a carriage. He also saw a man in a fancy suit holding a glass case with a golden statue inside.

"Stop! What are you doing?" Calico Jack shouted.

The man turned and glared at him.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"I'm Calico Jack, and this is my friend Kwazii. What's going on here?"

"This is none of your business. This thief stole this priceless artifact from my museum. I'm taking him to the court to face justice."

"That's not true! I didn't steal anything!" Kwazii protested.

"Quiet, you scoundrel! You were caught red-handed with the statue in your hands. You have no alibi, no witnesses, no proof. You're guilty as charged."

Calico Jack looked at Kwazii and saw the fear and confusion in his eyes. He knew he was innocent.

He decided to help him.

"Wait a minute," he said. "How do you know he stole it? Where's the evidence?"

"The evidence is right here," the man said, pointing at the statue. "This is the Golden Octopus, a rare and ancient artifact from the Octonauts' culture. It's worth a fortune. And this thief was trying to sell it to a shady dealer in the market."

"That's a lie! I was just looking at it! I didn't know it was stolen!" Kwazii said.

"Enough of your lies! The dealer told me everything. He said you came to him with the statue and offered him a deal. He agreed, but then he realized it was too risky and called me. I arrived just in time to catch you."

"That's not true! He's lying! He's the real thief!" Kwazii said.

"Oh, really? And how do you explain this?" the man said, pulling out a piece of paper from his pocket. "This is the receipt for the sale of the statue. It has your name and signature on it."

Kwazii looked at the paper and gasped.

"That's not my signature! That's a forgery!"

"Ha! Nice try, but you can't fool me. This is your handwriting, all right. I have experts who can confirm it."

Calico Jack looked at the paper and noticed something odd.

He had an idea.

He snatched the paper from the man's hand and examined it closely.

He smiled.

"I think I can prove that this is a fake," he said.

"How?" the man asked, annoyed.

"By using this," Calico Jack said, holding up his compass.

"What? A compass? What does that have to do with anything?"

"Everything," Calico Jack said. "You see, this compass has a special feature. It can detect magnetic fields. And this paper has a magnetic field."

"What? That's impossible!"

"Oh, really? Then watch this."

Calico Jack moved his compass over the paper and showed that the needle moved according to the letters on it.

He explained:

"This paper is not ordinary paper. It's magnetic paper. It has tiny iron particles embedded in it that can be manipulated by a magnet. And that's how you forged Kwazii's signature. You used a magnet to write his name on the paper."

The man's face turned pale.

He realized he was caught.

He tried to run away, but the guards stopped him.

They arrested him and freed Kwazii.

They thanked Calico Jack for his help and apologized for their mistake.

They returned the statue to the museum and gave Calico Jack and Kwazii a reward for their service.

Kwazii hugged Calico Jack and thanked him for saving him.

He was glad he had such a good friend.

Calico Jack smiled and said:

"Don't mention it, matey. That's what friends are for."

Kwazii nodded and hugged him.
